Manage 10 years of big data

According to the law imposed on all commercial Banks, one of Blendata’s clients needed to store its customers’ transaction history and other data for 10 years, which led them to resort to tape backup as an affordable solution. However, the recorded data was not readily available as accessing it will need to be restored to the database, which takes a lot of time and can only be done by an expert. The database must also be stored on the same brand device for 10 years for possible future evidence, which restricts the choice and management.
